Okay, so much is happening in my life right now that I don't know what to do with it! I still have my job at Walgreens, and I love it more and more every day it seems! I thought I was in trouble yesterday since I couldn't find a certain slip of paper from a previous customer too *chuckles nervously*...
The store manager, Chad, came up to me, sighed, and then, gave me the biggest smile and told me I had some of the maddest cash counting skills in the store, and he even shook my hand and gave me one of those funny "secret" handshakes, lol! I was so happy to hear that from someone so high up in the store! I really hope to turn this job into a career throughout the future. It's sooo hard to find a job where you seem to start seeing your co workers as tight family members. I love each and every one of my managers and co workers, and I would already do anything for any of them. That's how I've recently been feeling about my Choir group from college too! When I have a Tuesday or Thursday off (my two class days) a lot of us go out and eat somewhere and to just hang out and goof off, lol! I will be touring three countries with them in Europe next May, and I want to go there with friends, not acquaintances. I'm also preparing to put on a huge performance with them in about six weeks! This show will be paying for part of our big trip, and every night will be a sell out! All hail the Flying Tomato Cabaret!!! I also went to a recording studio with them yesterday! It was soooo amazing, I can't even begin to put it in words! We were acting as background singers (or yellers in my opinion, lol) in an interesting hard rock song about terrorism. I'm not one for anything musically hard like that.... It gives me a head-ache, and it's just obnoxious noise, lol, but it was fun none the less. All we did was yell "We must unite! Hooah!" about 100 times it seemed. One guy told me to be louder, but my voice isn't made for yelling, lol. Well, Halloween is coming up as well, and I have to come up with some sort of costume for work since I'll probably be working that day... Maybe, hopefully it'll be a day where the 8-430 shift! I have a printer/scanner now, but it's an hour's drive away from here, so I'll be picking that up next weekend. Maybe then I can start updating more than just a journal! I'm still up for any drawing requests, so if you have ideas, please, send them my way. I guess I have one more update before I leave everyone alone, and it's a secret, so shhhhhhhhh! I will be getting my fourth paratweet (parakeet) soon so that my albino, Midnight, will have her own playmate like the other two. My mom just can't know about it, lol! It took her a month to find out that we had a third when I brought her (Midnight) home, lol! Midnight is, and forever will be, my clumsy, little baby. I also have a white and pale blue one, named White Feather. One of my ex-b/fs named her that, and the other is turquoise with a yellow head, and black and yellow wings. He's the only male, and his name is Gladwin! He thinks he's the sexiest thing in existence, but then again, every male parakeet is that way, lol!
